This is Rick Flens (Rabobank) and this photo shows how hard it was to take photos during the race: riders came by so fast!
We were able to take photos of riders warming up in front of the teambuses though! Team Rabobank got to start off the Giro in their own country this time…

Surprise of the day: Brent Bookwalter (BMC). He finished second behind winner Bradley Wiggins (Team Sky).
